Assessment:

This assignment was really interesting for me because I kept wanting to gravitate toward asking people I know which I know would make good photos. However I talked to some friends who introduced me to the boys playing guitar which is something they do a lot apparently. It was hard to get people to pose however. The guitar boys kept paying more attention to their guitars instead of posing how I asked so for my photo of Jacob Graham, I wish he were looking more at me so his face were more lit. As for asking someone who’s working, I had a lot of trouble finding people who weren’t busy. However, I did have one major mishap where it was a beautiful day, I had gone downtown and finally had some time set aside to go take these photos and once I went to adjust my settings I realized my battery was dead and I didn’t bring my spare. #FAIL. Anyways it was nice to talk to Anna as she agreed quickly to let me take her photo as she said she’s had to do things like that however I didn’t get to take any outtake photos with her as a line started to form behind me and she had the general expression on her face that I needed to go. Overall, If I gave myself more time and the weather was better I think I would’ve gotten some really cool photos. However, I’m happy with what I have captured.
